Red is the color of romance, passion, and the best kind of wine. It is also the color of this claret clutch (EB 302) Your customers will love this piece, whether as an accessory to their wedding, prom, or cruise.

Complete with a chic bugle beaded bow, this black clutch is the must-have evening bag equivalent to the Little Black Dress.

The Swarovski Crystal Story
The name sounds important. We proudly add it to the descript
ions of our Swarovski crystal jewelry and headpieces, and you add it to the descriptions of your Swarovski pieces. But what does it actually mean? Once again, we’re glad you asked.

Daniel Swarovski I began as a glass cutter in Northern Bohemia, a part of today’s Czech Republic. In 1892, he became a crystal revolutionary, inventing a new process of machine crystal cutting that perfected the art. The Swarovski Company was founded in 1895 by Swarovski and his financier, Armand Kosmann. The company was originally known as A. Kosmann, Daniel Swarovski & Co, and later shortened to K.S. & Co. Decades ahead of the green movement, K.S. & Co. established a factory in Wattens, Tyrol that depended upon local hydroelectricity.

These internationally sought-after Swarovski crystals are featured in hundreds of our bridal accessories at Elegance by Carbonneau and www. WeddingFactoryDirect.com. It is no surprise that these pieces are some of our most popular items.

Keshi Pearls
I’ll be honest wi
th you, Retailers. Before working for Elegance by Carbonneau, I had no idea what a Keshi pearl was. Some of you may be gasping in horror. Others may be clutching your coffee cups to your chests in disbelief. Still more of you might be scratching your lovely heads and thinking, “Wait: what is a Keshi Pearl?” In that case, Head-scratchers, I’ll go ahead and tell you about them. (This may also be a good refresher for you who are All Knowing in pearl matters.)

Keshi pearls are, to put it simply, beautiful accidents. They are pearls with no nucleus, which explains the unique shape. These pearls are formed in a couple of ways. When an oyster discards a nucleus before the pearl has had time to form, the nacre remains, resulting in a Keshi pearl. If loose epithelial cells find their way into an oyster during nucleation, Keshi pearls are, once again, the stunning result.

These pearls have a wonderfully lustrous surface, and have become a staple in many bridal accessory collections.
